Steamed Chicken with Oyster Mushroom
Soy Sauce 1 Tbsp
Mirin (If not, sugar and more sake) 1Tbsp
Sake (If not, white wine) 1 Tbsp
Sugar (optional) 1 tsp
Sesame Oil 1/4 tsp
1 Salt and pepper the chicken. Cut oyster mushrooms to a good size.
2 Roll the chicken thigh and place it on cling film.
3 Wrap and roll the chicken with the cling film like a sausage.
4 Make about 10 holes or more with the BBQ skewer or tooth pick.
5 Put the chicken on a plate or tray and cook it in a microwave for 3-5 minutes. It depends on the size of the chicken thigh how long you need to cook. Mine was small and took about 3 min.
6 Take the chicken out of microwave and leave it for a minute or so because it’s really hot! And it’s easier to slice it once the chicken cools down,
7 Fry oyster mushrooms in a heated frying pan with some oil.
8 When mushrooms get soft add the wanter and the sauce.
9 mix water and corn flour and add to the frying pan. Cook and stir for 30 sec-1 min. When the sauce gets thicker, it’s ready.
10 Slice the chicken and place in a bowl or plate and pour over the sauce with oyster mushrooms.
