Curried Kipper with Potato & Poached Egg
A well known bar owner Mr Maguchi in Tokyo told me on Twitter how to make tinned sardines tastier. So, I tried it and it was great. I thought I could use it with Kipper. If you like smoked fish, you’d love this.
Soy Sauce 1+1/2 tsp
Mirin 1+1/2 tsp
Sake 1+1/2 tsp
Ginger 1/4 tsp
Curry Powder some…
1 Peel skins off.
2 Cut Kipper in half.
3 Put Kipper in a small pot and add sauce. Cook it in the oven for 15-20min at 200c
4 Fry sliced potato in a frying pan with medium heat.
5 Make a poached egg.
6 When Kipper is ready, cut potato slices in half and put them on a plate, Kipper and a poached egg on top of them. Pour the sauce from a little pot.
