Chicken Yaki Udon
Udon is wheat flour noodles and usually served hot as noodle soup. But it’s also served cold or fried.
You can buy packed fresh udon from any normal supermarket.
Udon Noodle 100g
Soy sauce 1Tbsp or more
Mirin ( if you haven’t got it, sugar+a bit more sake,wine or water) 1Tbsp
Sake (or white wine) 1Tbsp
1 Put Udon in a bowl with hot water (It’s easier and quicker to cook later)
2 Put pak choi and bean sprouts in a pan with hot water. Cook them for 1 min and drain the water. (It’s easier and quicker to cook later)
3 Salt and pepper the chicken. Stir fry the chicken in a wok.
4 Add vegetables apart from spring onion. Salt and Pepper and stir quick!
5 Drain the water from the Udon noodles.
6 Put Udon noodle in the wok with vegetables and chicken. Add sauce, stir and mix all well. Finally add spring onions.
